Jeny comes to The Yoni Temple from a background in intuitive energy work. She is passionate about the healing power of radical self acceptance and finding the magic in everyday moments. She loves hiking, journaling in cafes, and spending time with her two awesome kids and darling husband.

Esthetcian
Onyi is an Oakland native and has been a licensed esthetician since 2022. She found herself embarking on the esthetician journey from receiving waxes and wanting to offer that experience to others. In her free time she hangs with her sphynx cat, Egusi and takes on arts and crafts projects like fragrance making, pottery or making dishes she found on TikTok.

Shymell is a licensed esthetician with 15 years of hands on experience in the beauty industry. She's dedicated and skilled specializing in full body waxing services. Her passion lies in providing a comfortable, personalized, and efficient experience while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and care. Whether its your first time or you're a regular client, Shymell strives to create a welcoming environment that leaves you feeling confident and refreshed. In her free time she loves to spend time with her Husband and their senior doggy Winnie. She also enjoys spending quality time with loved ones, hiking the beautiful Oakland Hills, cooking new recipes, and yoga.

Desiree is a career activist and intimacy geek based in Berkeley, CA. They are passionate about social justice, honest self-work and plant identification. In their spare time they’re as likely to be at their sewing machine as they are on their bike. Desiree appreciates the power of waxing as an act of self-love and bodily reclamation. She believes in taking care of ourselves and feeling good in our bodies.

Elliott is an artist native to the Bay Area who has been living in Oakland since 2023. They are driven by a passion to help others and a love of inspiring the people around them to see the beauty in themselves. In their spare time, they enjoy drawing diverse faces and bodies, visiting thrift stores, and eating pasta.

Taylor has been a licensed esthetician specializing in Brazilian waxing for 18 years. In her free time Taylor enjoys cooking & eating vegan food, playing in her herbal apothecary, wandering the woods, yoga & meditation, traveling, and spending time with her loving partner and their beautiful son.
Ashley

Owner & Founder
12 years ago, Ashley opened the doors of the Temple with the intention to create a safe and sacred space for everyone. Ashley is a yoga and meditation teacher, alchemist, clinical herbalist and functional diagnostic nutrition practitioner. In her free time she loves to be in nature, especially by the ocean. Ashley has an appetite for travel and amazing food. She loves creating beautiful spaces and giving hugs.
